Challenge:

Create a digital tool or experience that capitalises on Gen Z’s online connectivity to deliver meaningful IRL experiences through Airbnb.

Execution:

We identified young adults (18-24 years old) as the primary audience, who are digitally engaged but seeking meaningful real-life connections. The campaign goal is to turn digital connections into IRL experiences, aligning with Airbnb's ethos of offering unique stays and authentic community connections. I included personalized kits and diverse travel experiences in locations like Cape Town, Nha Trang, and Cagliari to cater to various travel styles and preferences. ​ Promotion channels were thoughtfully chosen, combining traditional media with digital platforms like TikTok and Instagram to effectively reach the audience.

Event Planning

I orchestrated a memorable Potluck Friendsgiving event, incorporating strategic planning and creative direction. I developed and distributed mood boards to ensure cohesive photo aesthetics, managed guest communications through digital invitations, and implemented a streamlined system using Google Forms to track dietary restrictions and potluck contributions. I then curated a comprehensive menu and designed an elegant tablescape to enhance the dining experience.

I secured an ideal location and designed personalized invitations, which were promptly distributed to all attendees. I coordinated contributions from each guest to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience. Furthermore, I led a yoga class, providing a unique and relaxing activity that enhanced the overall event.

I meticulously designed the wardrobe, invitations, and menus, ensuring every detail aligned with a Mediterranean theme. I curated a selection of food that perfectly matched the desired look and feel, creating a cohesive and immersive experience. My strategic planning and attention to detail resulted in a memorable and well-executed event.
